Flight Safety has relevant and current experience with the development and/or redevelopment of aviation and company specific minimum standards, being recently appointed to re-write the Queensland Health Aeromedical Fixed Wing Aviation Standard. Flight Safety was instrumental in the implementation of CAAP 71 Helidecks (Offshore) Abu Dhabi offshore regulations and the Malaysian Airport Standards Directive ASD904.

As Flight Safety is ISO 9001:2015 certified, we have established procedures in place for the management of editions and versions of documents.

We have verified abilities to deliver specific topic research, analysis and information gathering of supporting material, demonstrated by our involvement with the ICAC independent commission against corruption and various legal investigations.

Audit Methodology

Flight Safety has carried out over 2,500 detailed Audits for the full spectrum of air, maintenance, and ground operations including security. These Audits have been carried out on both rotary and fixed wing operations within various sectors of the aviation industry including; international/national/regional airlines, training operations, geophysical survey sectors, emergency medical services, and marine pilot transfer operations.

Flight Safety is Lloyd's Registered - ISO 9001:2015 Certified and applies typical ISO 9001:2015 auditing techniques, such as opening meetings, auditing only with auditee key personnel present, closing meetings with mutual agreement on Non-Compliances/Findings based on objective evidence. Checklists are used as an aide-mémoire during the audit. This methodical process is recorded in a comprehensive final report that includes digital photographic records of all relevant aspects of the audit.

Flight Safety has the ability to meet project deadlines issued by our clients. Our company is audited annually by Lloyd's Register on our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and constantly demonstrates the successful fulfilment of quality objectives, including the timely delivery of reports and project outcomes.

Professional Team of Certified Auditors and Inspectors

The Flight Safety team is comprised of Aviation experts from pilot, engineering and investigation backgrounds and encompasses the capacity to provide consultancy and advice against technical standards and regulatory requirements.

All Flight Safety personnel hold professional aviation qualifications and are ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor trained with extensive aviation backgrounds.

We have highly experienced safety, quality and risk assessors and accident investigators within our organisation, and this defines the essence of our technical writing methodology.

Flight Safety have experienced Senior Aviation Advisers and Consultants strategically based around Australia, mainly centred in Queensland, NSW, WA and Victoria.

Flight Safety's CEO has 54 years' experience in the aviation industry. This experience has contributed to the ongoing success as an aviation consultancy business which offers a broad spectrum of aviation consultancy services and the production of Flight Operations and related manuals. Projects have included AOC license applications, Air Service violation hearings and start-up airline processes.

Risk Assessment and Risk Management

Using qualitative and quantitative risk assessment techniques developed specifically for all types of aviation activities, Flight Safety integrates risk management into quality management control structures.

General and comprehensive aviation consultancy and technical advice is also provided.

Current operational bases include; the Sunshine Coast Queensland, Melbourne Victoria, Perth Western Australia and Pretoria and Cape Town in South Africa.

Flight Safety is positioned to offer advice and certification to both International and UK CAP 437 standards for helideck and land based facilities. The company owns the only accredited Friction Tester, we have two units with backup spares.
