Helipad Inspector Certification Course
By popular demand due to the imminent changes pending for Commercial Helicopter Operations the Flight Safety Group has now included an Inspector Certification sign-off course for First and Second Party inspections. This means that a candidate who passes the course has the authority to sign-off on helipads in operational use for their organisation or any allied subsidiary organisation.
This extended course is conducted at the Mantra Tullamarine Airport.

Day 1: Covers Offshore Helideck Inspection Procedures, Agenda example below:
Day 2: Covers Offshore Helideck Inspection Procedures & a Brief Overview of Onshore Helicopter Landing Site Design Concepts, Agenda example below:
Day 3: Is dedicated to approximately 15 specific helipads, that we have either designed from scratch or corrected failed designs. This will give you a solid grounding in design processes and problems that arise.
Day 4: Involves basic designs and practical exercises to fulfill final design requirements, included in this final assessment process is a sophisticated on-line course with an integrated multiple choice quiz, additional assessment quizzes are included at the end of each module.
